Digital Water Management या स्पर्धेत आपल्या शाळेला प्रथम क्रमांकाची तीन बक्षिसे प्राप्त झाली आहेत सहभागी विद्यार्थ्यांनी प्रकल्प कमी वेळेत मिळून पण खूप उत्तम रीतीने पार पाडला. इयत्ता 9 वी मधील पूर्वी पिसाळ,आर्या भुरूक,विशाल करचे,स्वराली केवारे या मुलानी स्पर्धेत खूप छान रीतीने presentation केले आणि केलेले काम समजावून सांगितले. यासाठी शिक्षक श्री शंकर अडसूळ सर यांनी मुलांकडून प्रकल्प करून घेण्यास मेहनत घेतली. तसेच मुख्याध्यापिका सोनाली बगाडे यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. यामध्ये शाळेतील रोटरी interact club मधील 36 विद्यार्थी सहभागी होते. सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांचे हार्दिक अभिनंदन

Sahyadri Devrai Foundation is a well known organisation working in the field of Environment & Plantation. Mr. Shinde explained to the students importance of planting more trees, how and why to take care of these trees for the first three years. What benefits trees provide for us. It was an eye opening session for all our students.

Student Parliament Oath Ceremony is an every year ritual that we follow at Sumati Balwan where the new student leaders are made aware of their responsibilities and they take an oat to fulfill them.

Mr. Pravin Dikshit, Retired Director General of Police, IPS visited Sumati Balvan to inspire our students and teachers through his experience. Discipline, policy making and critical thinking were topics he shared his experiences on.

Inner Wheel Educationist Award for years of dedication and commitment in recognition of sincere efforts to inspire future leaders was awarded to our founder, Vice President and Principal by the association's National body. Listen to IWC Pune President, Swati Iyer’s narration of how Sumati Balwan school started as a small medical dispensary 25 years ago as the area had no proper transport incase of emergency, moving to providing a home of care and belongingness to 3 destitute children and now a life-centric holistic school of 650 students. We thank The Association of Inner Wheel Clubs for their donations so students could create a sewage treatment plant and understand the technology and importance of water harvesting. Students now want to implement it in their village as it has been a success in school nurturing lush harvests.
