Deepak joined Sumati Balwan at a difficult moment — his father had recently lost work and the family was weighing whether to pull him out of school. In 2021, Deepak scored 91% in his Class 12 Science board exams — the highest result the school had recorded. The news spread through the community quickly. Local newspapers ran brief reports and the school held a celebration ceremony that drew parents and trustees from across the city.
Campus Placement
Where He Is Today
Deepak was selected through a campus placement drive at his junior college and joined Bajaj Auto's Chakan plant as a production technician in 2022. He is currently enrolled in a part-time engineering diploma programme and plans to move into a supervisory role within five years. He returns to Sumati Balwan once a year to speak at the school's career guidance workshop.
